Comme il vient de finir sa saison d'accompagnateur au Contamines Montjoie, la Massif du Mont-Blanc est retenue! Du coup, je lui propose le Glacier du Tour... pour le sommet, on verra sur place! On a donc bivouaqué juste après le refuge Albert 1er, afin d'être au calme, et surtout d'être les premiers... Pour l'objectif 1, contrat rempli, pour le 2... presque !! si une cordée ne s'était pa levé une dizaine d eminutes avant nous!! Nous sommes finalement monté sur un monticule, qui se nommait finalement tête blanche, et d'où nous avons pu profiter d'un magnifique panorama! Une belle presque-première fois sur un glacier de cette dimension pour antoine! Du coup, les photos illustrent plus le beau coucher que nous avons eu que la course en elle-même! A vrai dire, le résultat est bien meilleur que ce que je pensais donc tant mieu!! Tout a été fait au F100, velvia 50 et focale fixe (20, 35, 50). enjoy! Rendez vous à Champhorent samedi en fin d'aprem, direction les bivouacs situés sous le départ de l'arête. La montée fut rude, pour cause de petit soucis intestinaux ... Repas frugal (il faudrait songer à ne pas oublier le pain la prochaine fois) puis dodo...</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;">Le lendemain, lever tardif et repas frugal (ne pas oublier le petit dej à la voiture la prochaine fois!!)... l'arête ouest déroule bien, c'est très beau, pas très dure, mais assez long et surtout... sauvage!!! la descente en versant sud se fait très bien avec un peu d'attention et la bière à la Lavey a une saveur particulière ! Lorsque Bruno me propose de l'accompagner, lui et Michel, pour la face sud directe et la Traversée de la Meije, je croie rêver... ce rêve depuis bientôt 5 ans va devenir réalité... Je l'ai tant observée, photographiée, attendue, que je ne l'espèrais pas encore pour tout de suite... Au final, deux jours de bonheur immense, avec, cerise sur le gâteau, LE coucher de soleil idéal, au sommet du Doigt de Dieu...</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"><strong>Jour 1</strong> : Les Enfetchores</span><br /></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:85%;">Le premier jour consiste à remonter l'éperon des Enfetchores jusqu'à la brèche de la Meije, pour ensuite basculer côté Etançons et le Refuge du Promontoire. La montée est sauvage, magnifique, avec une vue splendide sur la Face Nord de la Meije! Déjà une belle course ! Au refuge, acceuil très sympathique des jeunes aides gardiens. Bonne nouvelle, juste une cordée de deux en plus de la nôtre pour la Pierre Alain. Il faut dire que la neige tombée il y a deux jours à peut-être fait décaler d'un jour les prétendants à cette magnifique escalade. La Pierre Alain peut se subdiviser en trois partie : une première qui aboutit au sommet du "fauteuil" (une pseudo vire immense), relativement facile, un bastion centrale qui envoit bien avec une escalade extérieure surprenante de modernité lorsqu'on sait qu'elle a été réalisée en 1934, et une partie sommitale depuis la vire du glacier carré (qui n'a de vire que le nom), particulièrement corsée, aérienne, technique... bref qui a le temps d'en faire voire de toute les couleurs!! L'arrivée au sommet fut un grand moment, à 17h après près de 11h d'escalade (dur dur de garder les chaussons autant de temps!!). La traversée des arêtes est un grand moment d'alpinisme, sur le fil d'une des plus esthétiques aériennes que l'on puisse imaginer, dont le crux reste bien évidemment la goulotte Zigmondy, goulet de glace à 60° suspendu au dessus de la Face Nord... le cheminement suit le fil des dents, fuyante côté la Grave, surplombante et déversante versant sud. L'arrivée au sommet du Doigt de Dieu fut grandiose, avec un lever de Lune plein Est, et un coucher de soleil (flamboyant sur la Barre des Ecrins), côté Ouest... Tout cela se termine par trois rappels, dont le dernier pour sauter la rimaye, la descente s'effectuant au clair de Lune (donc sans frontale !!) jusqu'à l'Aigle où nous attendaient Marie, Sylva et CoinCoin pour fêter cette journée sur le fil des écrins !! Un joli sommet, au bord de lacs paradisiaques, une escalade homogène, sur un très bon rocher, une descente tranquille à pied depuis le sommet, et une approche sur un bon chemin carrossable (mais interdit au voitures), le tout à une petite demi heure de route de la maison! Rajouté à cela un soleil omniprésent, un équipement sur spit irréprochable, un zeste aéré (il faut grimper entre les points...), et encore une fois une solitude fort agréable, et vous obtenez le pourquoi du "ça vaut le déplacement" ! La première partie se déroule sur un pilier en bon rocher, mais les nombreuses vires coupent un peu son élan. Après une traversée mi-herbeuse, mi-rocheuse, on attaque la deuxième partie, où est d'ailleurs condensée l'ensemble des longueurs dures (5 à 5+), sur une dalle magnifique que l'on remonte sur 5 longueurs.
